Theme of the first issue

«Il dialogo giuridico tra Europa, Africa e Mediterraneo»

Scholars and professionals are invited to submit original contributions — theoretical, comparative or applied — exploring the relationships among legal systems, institutions and rights along this axis.

Si invitano studiosi e professionisti a proporre contributi originali, di taglio teorico, comparato o applicativo, che indaghino i rapporti tra ordinamenti, istituzioni e diritti lungo l'asse Europa-Africa-Mediterraneo.

AGAMI Journal is the scientific journal promoted by AGAMI Research Center: contributions undergo a double-blind peer review process; the journal is intended for ISSN registration and will be published in digital Open Access format.

Editorship and editorial team

  • Scientific direction (Editor in Chief): Avv. Kaoutar Badrane, President of AGAMI.
  • International Editorial Board Being formed
    intended to include scholars from Morocco, Tunisia, France, Spain and sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Frequency: annual for the first two years; thereafter, prospectively, semi-annual.

  • Investment, trade and economic integration between Africa and Europe;
  • Dialogue among the legal systems of the Mediterranean area, with particular attention to Italy-Morocco relations.

Original essays subject to evaluation.

Notes and comments

Notes and comments on case law or legislation.

Reviews

Book reviews and bibliographic notices.

Permanent sections. Alongside the articles, the journal hosts the “Euro-African and Mediterranean Observatory” section, dedicated to monitoring judgments, legislative reforms, international agreements and reports on the Europe-Africa-Mediterranean area.

Participation

Languages, young authors and evaluation

Languages

Contributions in Italian, French and English are accepted, accompanied by an abstract and keywords.

Young authors

Contributions by authors under 35 — doctoral candidates, young researchers and professionals — are particularly encouraged. The best contribution by a young author may be recognized within the framework of the Mohamed Badrane Prize, dedicated by AGAMI to new generations of scholars.

Evaluation

Contributions are examined by the scientific editorship and subjected to evaluation; for articles, double-blind peer review is adopted wherever possible. The journal reserves the right to accept, request revisions to, or decline the contributions submitted.
