Identity and mission
Why AGAMI was founded
AGAMI – Dialogo Giuridico Interculturale APS is an Italian Third Sector Entity dedicated to legal dialogue and cooperation between Europe, Africa and the Mediterranean. Through AGAMI Research Center it carries out research, legal training, dissemination, observation and international cooperation activities.
AGAMI Research Center is not a separate legal entity: it is the Association's internal scientific structure, whose scientific direction is provided by the International Scientific Committee.

The first woman of Moroccan origin to graduate in Law in Italy, according to the account published by the University of Trento. It was she who proposed, in Rabat, the creation of an international network of jurists and lawyers, and who gave effect to it by founding AGAMI.
Since then she has developed activities in comparative law and legal, judicial and institutional cooperation between Italy and Morocco, progressively extended to the Mediterranean, to Africa and to the European dimension.

2017
A structured legal cooperation
The international conference in Bassano del Grappa gave rise to the Italian–Moroccan Study Commission on family law.
2022
The judiciary and the Bar in dialogue
Italian–Moroccan judicial cooperation entered legal-profession training through a session devoted to bilateral agreements and to the operational instruments linking the two legal systems.
2024–2026
From Africa to economic relations
From the discussion of the Mattei Plan at the Rome Bar Association to economic delegations and MEDIEDIL, AGAMI extends its model of connection from law to institutional and economic cooperation.
